Hello and welcome to the Bear's Nest rate and availability calendar. We have added a new deluxe room that overlooks our beautiful gardens, thus the name, The Garden Room. At only 125.00 per night for two persons which includes continential breakfast.

Due to our Saturday Night Music which runs into the wee hours of the morning we are no longer renting the Garden Room on Saturday Nights unless the renters have no issues with music being played.
We also would very much like to have happy, young at heart people that don’t require someone to wait on them every moment and don't have a problem sharing a Beautiful well Kept bathroom with the owners, NOT THE GENERAL PUBLIC.
The bathroom has locking doors and the most amazing tiled shower.
We live here and run a tight ship as to cleanliness. There are other Luxuries afforded people who rent our Garden Room,you have a king size bed with 400 thread count sheets and continental breakfast foods available.
What we do not wish to have is grumpy, demanding, unhappy, stressed out negative people. We have to make this clear because life is short and we like people and wish to avoid comflict.
Our home is beautiful, well kept and we work very hard to make people happy.
Tastefully decorated with earth tones and amazing art, this room has all the comforts of home, including a king size bed with extra comphy memory foam pad, a window seat for two or to sit with a good book alone and stare out the window at the forest. Wake up to the sounds of birds singing
The room is located above our cafe and has a spectacular View of the gardens
Your deluxe mosaic tiled shower, with duel showerheads, is five or six steps down the hallway and is something to see and display Lynne's amazing talent and artistry.
You may decide to soak in the tub with mineral salts after a long kayak trip, candles flickering and the sounds of the forest tickling your ear.

The Bear’s Nest is the only business in Gustavus that doesn’t take commissions from any referrals included the Taxi Company. We never have and never will. The cost of doing business here has nearly doubled since last year and yet, we have strived to maintain fair pricing and good service for our guest
You will receive the best food and personal service at our Café and B&B. It is not possible to find fresher seafood on the planet earth unless you are a shark.
You will be well fed, well cared for, and we don’t charge our customers unnecessary surcharges and fees to information.
The Bear’s Nest Café is without a doubt, the Best Café in Gustavus Alaska, serving only organic food, salads picked daily from our garden, Rubarb/Strawbeery Pie to die for, Pesto pasta made from Basil grown in Gustavus, Halibut, King Salmon and Dungeness crab from Fishermen who live as our neighbors, all served in a Beautiful Café overlooking our Beautiful Gardens.
